Hao is an Assistant Professor at HDSI and CSE. Hao has developed several popular open models and systems such as Vicuna and vLLM.

Junda is a first-year PhD student in UC San Diego’s Data Science Department, advised by Hao Zhang. He recently graduated from Rice University and works at the intersection of efficient machine learning and hardware-aware systems, with a current focus on efficient LLM algorithms and systems.

Yichao is a PhD student in Computer Science and Engineering at UC San Diego, advised by Hao Zhang. He previously earned his BS in Computer Science from Zhejiang University and works on distributed systems, ML systems, and efficient machine learning algorithms, with a current focus on optimized algorithms and systems for LLM inference.

Minshen is a master’s student in Computer Science and Engineering at UC San Diego, advised by Hao Zhang. He works on ML systems, long context modeling, and software-hardware codesign, currently contributing to the FastVideo project, focusing on video generation and world modeling.
